But missing your baby’s milestone sessions definitely sucks! Feeling rubbish and thinking you’ve missed out?

Wishing the cake smash could have gone ahead on time? Never fear! There are alternatives!

A professional photoshoot at any point will still achieve those beautiful captured memories, even if a little late.

1. Have the cake anyway!

Cake is ALWAYS good! Even a few months late. Your little one will have JUST as good a time bashing it up, and getting sticky with icing, a few months later than usual. In fact, slightly older babies are often much more engaged with messy play – so it’s often even more fun!

2. Paint splash

What child doesn’t enjoy getting messy? With an array of safe, non-toxic paints to dabble with, mess is positively encouraged! And you get to take their masterpiece canvas home as a keepsake.

3. Fruit smash

All kids love fruit. letting them loose to play with it makes for a fun photoshoot! Smash it, eat it, throw it! They will be in their element. Who can resist fruit smeared, happy faces, having fun?

4. Milestone session

Forget the cake, let’s talk themes! We can discuss backdrops, props and colours to achieve a stunning set of milestone images. We could incorporate a fruit bath, a favourite toy – whatever suits your baby’s blossoming personality.

5. Simple Family session
